When you source a valuable DVD or Bluray item and take a look at the disc only to find that it looked like someone took sandpaper to it, you don’t have to necessarily throw the disc(s) in the trash. There are solutions out there to recover your damaged media. You can opt for the JFJ Easy Pro for a couple hundred dollars or if you didn’t want to invest in a machine to do it yourself, often times you can find a video game store locally that will resurface the discs for you. Often times they charge around $5 per disc and will have it done in 15 minutes if they aren’t busy when you bring it in.
