Do you need a book scanner to sell books? You don’t need a book scanner, you can use your phone, but in the book scanning business it’s all about speed and efficiency. You’re going to be wasting time and losing money if you’re not using a bluetooth scanner. I highly recommend buying a bluetooth scanner if you’re serious about selling on Amazon.
What book scanner should I buy? I exclusively use the Opticon 2006 bluetooth scanner. But, I have used the Komtac KDC 200 scanner and the Eyoyo scanner without issues. If you’re trying to save money, buy the Eyoyo bluetooth scanner. It has great reviews, I have one and works perfectly fine. The Opticon 2006 scanner is just a higher quality and smaller scanner. But, you can’t go wrong with either. They all work similarly. You turn them on and connect the scanner to your phone via bluetooth. Once you’re connected to your phone and you open your favorite scouting app, you can scan barcodes and virtually instantly it will key in the barcode data to your phone.
