Clean them if needed
Most books are actually very clean, but if you come across a profitable book and it’s dirty simply wipe it down with some isopropyl alcohol and a paper towel and you will be fine. Some of these books can be really nasty, others you find will basically be like new. The last thing you want to do is get a negative review on your Amazon seller account because the book you sold was “dirty” or not clean.
Amazon has conditioning guidelines on used items. How do I grade them?
The books you’re reselling are going to be used. Go through and make sure there isn’t a ton of highlighting or notes, if there are sometimes I actually discard the book and won’t even resell it. I’m going to refer you to Amazon’s guidelines on grading books. Before you list an item, I can’t stress enough, do NOT sell a book as new unless you have an invoice. Amazon has been known to deactivate accounts selling used items as new.
I have included affiliate links to the products I recommend, you don’t have to use them but I would appreciate it you did. Regardless, I think it’s good to help others and share information.
